Let me introduce you to Blair and Brian. If I could describe this couple in one word, it would just be happy–they just down right make each other happy. Josh and I were so honored to be a part of this absolutely gorgeous Chicago wedding. The modern details blended with the organic and earthy colors was just stunning. This was the first time we photographed at The Kitchen Chicago, and I believe it is now in my top three favorite venues. Brian and Blair, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of such an intimate and special day. We will you two the best of luck and happiness!

Allison and Matt held a gorgeous little wedding day at the Auburn Cord Deusenberg museum in Auburn, Indiana. Yahir and Bianca are another couple that we met while participating in the Chicago bridal show. We then, again, met with them while on a little weekend trip in Chicago and were so happy to hear that we would be with them at their wedding. What a beautiful wedding it was! Julie and Jason were a quiet couple that I met with at Starbucks that ended up surprising me with a rowdy good time on their wedding day. There was beer all over the place, a limo broke down, and Jason ended up on a dirt bike at one point–needless to say, we had a little fun that day. When Monica and Jordan (or should I say Jared) booked us, we had never even met them. In fact, we didn’t meet them until their wedding day (which was totally weird for us)! However, we really loved spending the day with them and their close friends and family. Michigan has so much beautiful scenery to offer for portraits and the fact that their reception was at Jordan’s parent’s house, made it so relaxed and carefree. It truly was a beautiful and fun day!

Taylor and Mike became clients of ours after we participated as vendors of a Chicago bridal show. We are so excited to be expanding our work in to the Chicagoland area! The couple got ready in their quaint little suburban homes (which I absolutely love) and held their wedding at a castle-like reception venue in Willow Springs, Illinois right next to the little coffee shop where they first met. We had the pleasures of working with Sophia and Todd for their very special wedding day in Oak Brook, Illinois at the fabulous Pinstripes: Bowling, Bocce, Bistro. Sophia found us at a Chicago wedding show that we were a part of. We were only able to meet this couple once a few weeks before their big day, and in that one meeting, Sophia took away that I am severely addicted to Lemonheads–and it just so happens that she works at the factory that makes them. Needless to say, I walked away with (literally) 30 pounds of Lemonheads after the wedding day. Anyone know an awesome dentist?!

I first met Amanda (not Eric) when I did her family photos one fall back in the day. I specifically remember thinking “wow this family is really great and that girls is really pretty–I would love to do her wedding one day!” What do you know–here we are! I knew Amanda and Eric were going to be a fantastic couple to work with on their wedding day when we did their engagement session. They are so in love and comfortable with each other. It’s like I didn’t even have to “work”. The wedding was perfectly planned and thought about down to every last detail. I just loved the neutral tones and colors of this wedding. We were lucky to work this wedding with our friends from Stevenson Photo doing a photo and video collaboration. Karmen from Fort Wayne’s Orchid and Willow did an absolutely stunning job with floral–once again! Keep checking back to see the video we also did for Eric and Amanda!
